Privacy policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Global Streetwear Syndicate ("GSS", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and discloses your personal information when you visit globalstreetwearsyndicate.com (the "Site"), buy from the Site, sign up for our emails or text messages, or contact us. The Site sells several brands in the GSS family. This policy applies to all of them.
Personal information we collect
"Personal information" means any information that can identify you. We collect it in these ways:
Device and browsing information
- What: browser version, IP address, time zone, cookie information, the pages and products you view, search terms, and how you use the Site.
- Why: to load the Site correctly, to keep it secure, and to understand and improve how people use it.
- How: automatically, through cookies, log files, web beacons, tags and pixels.
- Shared with: Shopify (our store platform), Google (analytics and advertising), Meta (advertising) and Klaviyo (email and text messaging).
Order information
- What: name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and phone number.
- Why: to process your payment, make and ship your order, send order confirmations and updates, screen orders for fraud and, if you agree, send you marketing.
- How: from you, at checkout.
- Shared with: Shopify and its payment processors, our production and fulfilment partners (only what they need to make and ship your order, such as your name and shipping address), shipping carriers, and Klaviyo.
Sign-up information (email and text messages)
- What: email address, mobile phone number, the page or event where you signed up, and your consent choices.
- Why: to send you the emails and text messages you asked for, including welcome offers and news about releases.
- How: from you, through our sign-up forms and pages (for example, a page you reach by scanning a QR code).
- Shared with: Klaviyo, which sends our emails and text messages for us.
Customer support information
- What: name, email address and anything you tell us when you contact us.
- Why: to answer you and help with your order.
- How: from you.
- Shared with: Shopify, as our support platform.
Text messages (SMS)
If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive marketing text messages, we send you recurring automated marketing texts about new releases and offers from the brands on the Site. You agree to receive these texts when you enter your number and submit a sign-up form that shows the text-message disclosure.
- Consent is not a condition of purchase.
- Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help, or email us at info@globalstreetwearsyndicate.com.
- Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell, rent or share your mobile phone number, or your text-message opt-in data and consent, with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. We share your number only with the service providers that deliver our messages (Klaviyo and the mobile carriers), and only for that purpose. The categories of sharing in the rest of this policy do not include text-message opt-in data and consent.
Email marketing
If you sign up for our emails, we send you news about releases and offers. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to remove you at info@globalstreetwearsyndicate.com.
How we share personal information
We share personal information only as this policy describes:
- Shopify runs our online store. Read how Shopify uses personal information: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.
- Production and fulfilment partners make and ship your order. They receive only the order details they need.
- Klaviyo sends our emails and text messages. Read how Klaviyo uses personal information: https://www.klaviyo.com/legal/privacy-notice.
- Google and Meta help us measure the Site and show ads (see "Advertising and analytics" below).
- Legal reasons: we may share information to obey the law, to answer a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request, or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information for money.
Advertising and analytics
We use your information to show you ads and marketing that we think may interest you:

- We use Meta (Facebook and Instagram) advertising. We share information about your use of the Site, your purchases and your response to our ads with Meta.

How we use personal information
We use personal information to run the Site, sell products, take payments, make and ship orders, prevent fraud, answer questions, and, with your consent, send you emails and text messages about new products and offers.
Lawful basis (EEA and UK)
If you live in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal information on these bases:
- your consent (for example, for marketing emails and text messages);
- the contract between you and us (for example, to fill your order);
- our legal obligations;
- to protect your vital interests;
- our legitimate interests, when your rights and freedoms do not override them.
How long we keep information
We keep order information for our records until you ask us to delete it, unless the law requires us to keep it longer. We keep sign-up information until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, we keep a record of your opt-out so that we do not contact you again.
Automated decisions
We do not make decisions about you by fully automated means that have a legal or similarly significant effect on you. Shopify uses limited automated checks to prevent fraud, such as short-term blocks on IP addresses and cards linked to repeated failed payments. These checks do not have a legal or similarly significant effect on you.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy of it;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- move it to another service;
- opt out of targeted advertising and marketing;
- withdraw your consent at any time.
To use these rights, email us at info@globalstreetwearsyndicate.com. You can also name an authorized agent to ask for you. We may need to confirm your identity before we act. We will not treat you differently because you used your rights.

If you are not satisfied with our answer to a complaint, you can contact the data protection authority where you live.
Children
The Site is not for people under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and think your child gave us personal information, email us at info@globalstreetwearsyndicate.com and we will delete it.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file that the Site saves on your device. Cookies make the Site work (for example, your cart), remember your choices, and tell us how people use the Site. Some cookies come from our partners for analytics and advertising.

Do Not Track
There is no common industry standard for "Do Not Track" browser signals, so we do not change how we collect data when we detect one.
